Heathers - Heather McNamara

Heather McNamara was such a fun role to play! I played her in ETSU’s production of Heathers at the Bert C. Bach stage. I really believe that this character was such a turning point in my career as I pushed the limits on what I thought I could do as an artist. A character like this is never someone I thought I could play as I thought she was so different from me, but as I dived deeper into the work I found that Heather Mac’s struggles were something many young women, including myself, dealt with! I learned so much in this role and really grew as an artist. Plus, I got to sing & dance Candy Store! Every musical theatre student’s dream!
